99 Wayz 2 Win HBCU College Fair and Career Expo
The 99 Wayz 2 Win HBCU College Fair and Career Expo is a free, community-focused event designed to educate, empower, and inspire middle school and high school students, parents, educators, and future professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), colleges and universities, employers, military organizations, and community partners while exploring pathways to higher education, career readiness, scholarships, internships, and leadership development.
Hosted by the 99 Wayz 2 Win Foundation and the Andrew and Walter Family YMCA, this annual event equips students with the knowledge, resources, and relationships needed to make informed decisions about their academic and career futures. Attendees can engage in one-on-one conversations with admissions counselors, career professionals, and mentors while discovering opportunities that support lifelong success.

Our History
The Charles and Sarah Wiley Memorial Scholarship at Southern University Laboratory School is in honor of Dr. Wiley’s late parents, Charles and Sarah Wiley. Both were passionate educators who began their teaching careers at Southern University Laboratory School while attending Southern University and instilled in others the belief that “hard work and education are the keys to success.”
This scholarship serves as a lasting tribute to their legacy by supporting two graduating student-athletes each year. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, commitment to community service, participation in athletics, and strength of character as reflected through recommendations. Through this initiative, the 99 Wayz 2 Win Foundation continues to invest in the next generation, ensuring that deserving students have the support and encouragement to pursue their educational goals and make a positive impact in their communities.
Our Founder
Our founder and Bridge Builder, Dr. Chuck Wiley, was honored to speak at the 2026 Charles and Sarah Wiley Memorial Scholarship Presentation during the Southern University Laboratory School Senior Breakfast, inspiring the Class of 2026 to pursue excellence, lead with character, and embrace the power of education and service.

About Our Recipient
The 99 Wayz 2 Win Foundation proudly recognizes Braxtyn V. Dumas as the 2026 Charles and Sarah Wiley Memorial Scholarship recipient. A graduate of Southern University Laboratory School, Braxtyn distinguished herself as the 2026 Valedictorian, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 4.28 GPA while earning 42 dual-enrollment college credit hours at Southern University, the highest dual-enrollment achievement in SU Lab history.
A proven leader, Braxtyn served as Student Government Association President, Beta Club President, Miss Southern High, and made school history as the first student to simultaneously hold the titles of Miss Southern High and Student Government Association President. She was also an All-Regional 400-meter runner, Dancing Doll Co-Captain, National Honor Society member, and a National Society of High School Scholars inductee.
Braxtyn will attend Southern University, where she plans to major in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science. The 99 Wayz 2 Win Foundation congratulates Braxtyn on her exceptional accomplishments and wishes her continued success as she inspires future generations through scholarship, leadership, and service.
